We camped in nearby Ponca, AR and we were just looking for a place to grab a bite to eat. It blew us away! We now drive three hours to eat it on occasion. Best chicken fried steak I've ever had. All their food and pie looked and tasted great. They sometimes have some live music which is cool. It's just a little whole in the wall cafe, but it's terrific. One of my favorite places all-time. It has some creole roots.
I'm 84 and have never had a better steak anywhere than I had here. Although it's 800 miles from here I'm looking forward to my next meal there. Everyone was friendly. The chef outstanding. Loved it.
The staff was friendly and talked my friends and I through the menu. The food itself makes this place incredible. I was very satisfied with my seafood choice up here in the mountains. Oh and the bathroom is adorable. Small and cozy and well decorated.
I've ate there once. The food was cooked perfect and tasted delicious. One of the best places I have found in Arkansas. Can't wait to eat there again. If you happen to be in the area make sure you try this place out. It's a hidden treasure. You won't be disappointed.
