Great campsite. The campsites were close but you weren't on top of each other. It was quiet, well cared for. The bathroom was clean. No showers but you're right next to a river and there is running water in the sinks of the bathroom. Each campsite had a picnic table and a fire ring. Plenty of small wood for kindling. There are two local places to buy firewood close by. A really beautiful spot. The campground is also dog friendly. If only the park were as dog friendly the trip would have been perfect.
This is an incredibly beautiful place to visit. It is peaceful and serene. Take your time to explore the river under the bluffs in low water or launch a canoe from here in high waters. Sometimes you can spot an elk. It is not the hidden gem it once was since they paved the road but still worth a visit.
Not really the best for hammock camping but the view is amazing!

Great, clean campground with easy access to Buffalo River. Not a lot of shade but beautiful views.
